A platformrun n jumpmaze game where the object of the Q*bert game is to change the color of the top of the cubes to the Destination color indicated at the upper-left of the screen (below Player 1's score) by hopping onto them. When all the cubes in the pyramid have been changed to the destination color, the screen will advance to the next Round, with the player-controlled Q*bert character starting back on the top cube. At the beginning of each Level, there will be a short demonstration cycle with Q*bert hopping around four cubes to explain to the player the play action of each Level. Each Level consists of four Rounds. The current Level number and Round number is displayed at the upper-right of the screen (below Player 2's score in a 2-player game).Note: Used a collision cheat. There's a glitch in the game near the end caused by the cheat. The game has 9 levels and it is endless as once you beat level 9, it repeats level 9 endlessly.

It is a platform game that features two-dimensional (2D) graphics. The object is to change the color of every cube in a pyramid by making the on-screen character jump on top of the cube while avoiding obstacles and enemies. Players use a joystick to control the character. The game was conceived by Warren Davis and Jeff Lee. Lee designed the titular character based on childhood influences and gave Q*bert a large nose that shoots projectiles. His original idea involved traversing a pyramid to shoot enemies, but Davis removed the shooting game mechanic to simplify gameplay. Q*bert was developed under the project name Cubes, but was briefly named Snots And Boogers and @!#[email protected]! during development.Q*bert was well received in arcades and by critics, who praised the graphics, gameplay and main character. The success resulted in sequels and use of the character's likeness in merchandising, such as appearances on lunch boxes, toys, and an animated television show. The game has since been ported to numerous platforms.Developed during the period when Columbia Pictures owned Gottlieb, the rights to Q*bert stayed with Columbia even after they divested themselves of Gottlieb's assets in 1984 and therefore, is currently a property of Sony Pictures Entertainment who acquired Columbia in 1989. In 2012's Wreck-It Ralph, Q*bert's appearance is credited to "Columbia Pictures Industries, Inc."GameplayQ*bert is an isometric platform game with puzzle elements where the player controls the titular protagonist from a third-person perspective. Q*bert starts each game at the top of an isometric pyramid of cubes, and moves by jumping diagonally from cube to cube. Landing on a cube causes it to change color, and changing every cube to the target color allows the player to progress to the next stage. In later stages, each cube must be hit multiple times to reach the target color. In addition, cubes will change color every time Q*bert lands on them, instead of remaining on the target color once they reach it. Jumping off the pyramid results in the character's death. The player is impeded by several enemies:Coily - A purple snake that chases after Q*bert.Ugg and Wrong-Way - Two purple creatures that run along the sides of the cubesSlick and Sam - Two green gremlins that revert the color changes that have occurred.A collision with purple enemies is fatal to the character. Colored balls occasionally appear at the top of the pyramid and bounce downward; contact with a red ball is lethal to Q*bert, while contact with a green one will immobilize the on-screen enemies. Upon dying, Q*bert emits a sound likened to swearing. A multi-colored disc on either side of the pyramid serves as an escape device from danger, particularly Coily. The disc returns Q*bert to the top of the pyramid, tricking Coily to jump off the pyramid if the snake was in close pursuit. This would cause all enemies and balls on the screen to disappear when Coily died.Odyseey 2 Emulatorhttp:www.mediafire.comdownload71dbyu9ti929jjaO2EMLauncher055.rar

game | Q bert Rebooted Classic Levels 1 4 Basic Strategy

Q bert Rebooted Classic Levels 1 4 Basic Strategy

I made this quick video to show some basic strategies for the first four levels of the game. Here are time markers to jump to specific levels:0:20 L1 R1 1:00 L1 R2 1:30 L1 R3 2:11 L1 R4 2:44 L2 R1 3:43 L2 R2 4:43 L2 R3 5:32 L2 R4 (this can be a tricky round - see below) 6:30 L3 R1 7:34 L3 R2 8:28 L3 R3 9:14 L3 R4 10:09 L4 R1 11:25 L4 R2 12:18 L4 R3 13:29 L4 R4Every level and every round has a repeated pattern as far as when things appear on screen, but their path is randomly generated. The only exception to that is Coily who moves are determined by your location. So while you can accurately track when things appear in each round, you have to adjust your strategy based on the random path these items take.Special Note: L2 R4 Can be a bit tricky as you only get two spinning discs, and Coily will often re-spawn right away each time you kill it, so the faster you can finish this level the better. In fact, while I did not do it in this video, if the enemies are not to close by, do not wait for Coily to jump on the nearest disc. Instead, try and clear as many of the cubes as you can before you jump on a spinning disc. This will allow you to clear the level before the next Coily starts attacking.I hope this helps. I would have made a longer video, but the PS4 share option only records the last 15 minutes of a game session so I had to stop before time ran out. When I have more time I'll make a video for levels 5 and up.

game | Donkey Kong Original Full Playthrough JP Arcade Version

Donkey Kong Original Full Playthrough JP Arcade Version

This is emulated with MAME 0.119+. The American version only has the 1st and last levels, but the Japanese version also has the 2nd and 3rd. The name of this ROM is "Japan set 1".There were a couple mistakes, but this was quick to complete compared to my many other videos. I'm sorry if my lack of skill in this game doesn't please you enough.HOW HIGH CAN YOU GET?LEVEL 1: 25m: Jump over barrels, or smash them with hammers, and climb ladders to reach Pauline.LEVEL 2: 50m: Reach Donkey Kong's floor by climbing moving ladders and passing conveyer belts while avoiding fires, pies, and Donkey Kong, himself.LEVEL 3: 75m: Use elevators and ladders while avoiding fires and springboards to reach Pauline's floor.LEVEL 4: 100m: Use ladders to climb and break all of the pegs, while avoiding or destroying puffy flames with hammers.. Once you break all of the pegs, Donkey Kong will fall, and Jumpman, a.k.a. Mario, will be reunited for good. And then the game starts RIGHT over again... *sigh* --------------In Levels 2 - 4, you can collect items for extra points. These are Pauline's sunhat, umbrella, and purse. The Bonus at the top-right corner of the screen is also a time limit. 1 second of time multiplied by 100 represents the Bonus points you get after beating the level. If the Bonus hits 000, you die!In Levels 1 & 4, hammers will let you break barrels in Level 1, and flames in Level 4 for a few seconds. However, you can't jump with them, and you can't climb ladders with them. Because of how they're set up in those levels, you can't even use them to hit Donkey Kong if you tried. Notice how the flames in Level 4 turn blue when you grab a hammer. It's as if you were Pac-Man and they were Ghosts.American NES Version: Arcade (US set 1) Version: --------------WOW! Qbert Cubes ARCADE

I think you remember this game (and so did I). Pretty hard game if you think about it as you have to turn the cubes while jumping on them to turn them to a solid green color, Don't think it was a a popular as the first Qbert, but it's one of those games you need to think fast as to whether you should jump from the top or bottom. After 15 minutes, I stopped the game. That's the longest time I EVER played this on 1 credit, lol.

game | Arcade Game Super Pac Man 1982 Namco

Arcade Game Super Pac Man 1982 Namco

For similar game, watch Jr. Pac-Man here: https:youtu.beFAu5-Zt4nL4 A maze sequel to Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man, but this time, instead of dots, the maze consists of prizes which are locked away behind gates. There are two ways to acces the prizes. You can eat the keys which open a particular gate, and not always the gate which is closest to that key. Or you can crash through the gate after you eat a super pill and become Super Pac-Man. You are not required to eat all of the keys in order to complete the stage. Four power pills are in maze and allow Pac-Man to turn the tables on the ghosts and eat them for a short time. When the ghosts begin to flash, time is running out and they will switch back, so beware. New in this game is the super pill. There are two super pills in the maze which allow Pac-Man to become Super Pac-Man for a limited period of time. While in Super form, Pac-Man can crash through the maze gates, fly over the ghosts and avoid being killed (or eat them when they're blue), and travel at super speed whenever the player presses and holds the speed button. When the super power is about to run out, Pac-Man flashes white and then returns to his normal form. You can extend the duration of super time by eating a regular power pill. The super time will then be extended by the duration of the ghosts' blue time.

game | Arcade Jungle King Jungle Hunt Pirate Pete 1982 Taito

Arcade Jungle King Jungle Hunt Pirate Pete 1982 Taito

A platformrun and jump scrolling game consisted of 4 levels where you play as tarzan out to rescue a woman. It was the first 'side-scrolling, jumping & attacking game with a humanoid character', appearing in arcades three years before Miyamoto's classic "Super Mario Bros.". This was also the first video game ever to feature Tarzan as a playable character. But, Taito never bothered to get permission from the estate of Edgar Rice Burroughs, so they were sued for copyright infringement for using Tarzan's likeness. So this title quickly went out of production, and is rather rare today. They later reworked the graphics and released this game as "Jungle Hunt".Jungle King gameplay begins at 00:06 Jungle Hunt, a Clone Version of Jungle King and gameplay begins at 6:02 Pirate Pete, a reworked version Jungle King and gameplay begins at 11:49.Note: No cheats were used, Just Save States.
