Konami Collector's Series: Arcade Advanced review. Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Konami Collector's Series: Arcade Advanced for the Game Boy Advance developed and published by Konami.Konami Collector's Series: Arcade Advanced is a collection of six classic Konami arcade games. The collection includes Frogger, Rush'n Attack, Gyruss, Time Pilot, Scramble and Yie Ar Kung-Fu. The games are faithful recreations of the arcade originals, and they also include special multiplayer modes. Use of the legendary Konami Code also enhances the games' graphics. Unfortunately, the game doesn't feature battery saves for high scores, but Konami Collector's Series: Arcade Advanced is still a fun collection of arcade classics. This video review features video gameplay footage of Konami Collector's Series: Arcade Advanced for the Game Boy Advance and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.

CGRundertow METAL SLUG ADVANCE for Game Boy Advance Video Game Review

Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow video game review of Metal Slug Advance for the Game Boy Advance, developed by Noise Factory and published by SNK Playmore. The series of Neo Geo arcade action classics finally hit the GBA in 2004 with explosive force, and this is one of the best ways to get in a quick fix of shmup carnage on the go. Fans of the arcade games will feel right at home, but there are some interesting additions and tweaks in the portable version. CGR Undertow BATTLEBOTS DESIGN DESTROY review for Game Boy Advance

BattleBots: Design & Destroy review. http:www.ClassicGameRoom.com Shop CGR shirts & mugs! http:www.CGRstore.com Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of BattleBots: Design & Destroy for the Game Boy Advance developed by Cave Barn Studios and published by Majesco. BattleBots: Design & Destroy is a follow-up to—or an improved of—an earlier Game Boy Advance game called BattleBots: Beyond The BattleBox. Due to that game's poor reception, Majesco fixed it up and reshipped it as BattleBots: Design & Destroy. Based on the television show BattleBots, this game tasks players with creating their own fighting robot from the ground up. From the skeleton to the body and the motor to the wheels, you're in charge of everything about your robot. There are four different weight classes to build in, and once you're finished, you can take your robot into battle. If you'd prefer to skip straight into battle with the design element, you can also play in an arena mode and choose from 16 pre-made robots. BattleBots: Design & Destroy offers single-player and local multiplayer play. This video review features video gameplay footage of BattleBots: Design & Destroy for the Game Boy Advance and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.

The Lion King 1 12 review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of The Lion King 1 12 for the Game Boy Advance developed by Vicarious Visions and published by Activision. The Lion King 1 12 is a 2D platformer from the GBA wizards at Vicarious Visions. The game is based on Disney's direct-to-video film of the same name. You play as Timon and Pumbaa while experiencing the events of The Lion King from their perspective. The Lion King 1 12 isn't a terribly complex platformer, but its simplicity works well. It's an ideal game for kids, and its quality makes it supremely playable for adults, as well. The Lion King 1 12 is a colorful game with beautiful animations and sprite work, a testament to the effort Vicarious Visions put into its handheld Nintendo games.Hakuna matata! This video review features video gameplay footage of The Lion King 1 12 for the Game Boy Advance and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.

CGR Undertow MARBLE MADNESS KLAX review for Game Boy Advance

Marble MadnessKlax review. http:www.ClassicGameRoom.com Shop CGR shirts & mugs! http:www.CGRstore.com Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Marble MadnessKlax for the Game Boy Advance developed by Frame Studios and published by Destination Software, Inc.Two very different arcade classics make strange bedfellows in Marble MadnessKlax for the Game Boy Advance. One of several classic game compilations released for the GBA, this one is notable if only for providing players a portable version of the underrated Klax. The version of Marble Madness is also notable, if for different reasons. Klax was conceived during the rise of Tetris, offering a unique twist on the falling-block puzzler concept. Colored tiles come down a conveyor belt, and players must drop them into rows of three to eliminate them. Marble Madness is a Classic Game Room favorite, taking players to a strange world where marbles roll through bizarre landscapes with even more bizarre music. This version isn't a Classic Game Room favorite. Marble MadnessKlax is a single-player compilation of two arcade greats. This video review features video gameplay footage of Marble MadnessKlax for the Game Boy Advance and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.

PaperboyRampage review. http:www.ClassicGameRoom.com Shop CGR shirts & mugs! http:www.CGRstore.com Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of PaperboyRampage for the Game Boy Advance developed by Frame Studios and published by DSI.PaperboyRampage is an arcade collection for the Game Boy Advance, pairing two of the most beloved video games in history. Paperboy and Rampage are arcade classics, but in this collection, something isn't quite right. They don't play like they should or look like they should, perhaps a result of the game's budget price tag. Still, if you're a collector looking for every possible version of these great games, this is certainly one of them. Paperboy tasks you with throwing newspapers into your subscribers' mailboxes and through non-subscribers' windows. Take that, ill-informed citizens! Rampage also emphasizes destruction, but in a more subtle tear-down-buildings kind of way. This video review features video gameplay footage of PaperboyRampage for the Game Boy Advance and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.

CGR Undertow KONAMI CLASSICS VOL. 1 review for Xbox 360

Konami Classics Vol.1 review. Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Konami Classics Vol.1 for XBox Live Arcade.I know! Let's throw three XBLA games on a disc so they can take up physical space instead of just floating about on the XBLA ether. How about Frogger? It's Konami Classics, so there's gotta be Frogger. (Even though the XBLA version is kinda laughable.) Super Contra? Sure, why not, even if it'll just increase the number of profanities shouted at televisions around the country. C'mon, one more to round out the... what's that? Castlevania: Symphony of the Night? Oh, BY ALL MEANS. I think we've sold it here. (Now we just need a remake of Legend of the Mystical Ninja, and we'll be set.)This video review features video gameplay footage of Konami Classics V.1 for XBox 360 and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's TJ.
