Classic Game Room reviews the PAY-TO-PLAY ARCADE MACHINE MONEY BOX from Paladone which is a mini arcade cabinet version of the videogame, EARTH DEFENDERS! Defend Earth from alien invaders one coin at a time. This pseudo-bank is a cool way to save coins or get your coworkers to fork over some cash for arcade gaming time. Each coin (the machine has no idea what kind of coin you insert) gives players 2 minutes of Earth Defenders action. The video game itself is a Space Invaders inspired game that plays like one of the old LCD 80's handhelds. CGR video review of Earth Defenders Pay to Play Arcade Machine Money Box has video review footage of the Earth Defenders arcade machine Money Box in HD action. Available from ThinkGeek.com

This CGR video review of Donkey Kong Jr. features a Donkey Kong Jr. video game arcade machine from the arcades showing Donkey Kong Jr gameplay in HD action from PAPA World Headquarters.

Classic Game Room HAPP COMPETITION JOYSTICK review and installation

Happ Competition Joystick review with X-Arcade Tankstick. Classic Game Room reviews the HAPP COMPETITION JOYSTICK and shows installation into a X-Arcade Tank Stick. The Happ Competition Joystick will fit into the X-Arcade Tankstick with a slight bit of modification. This Modded X-Arcade Tankstick now has a red Happ Competition Joystick for superior controls in fighting games like Street Fighter IV and space ship shooters like Thunder Force V and Gigawing. The X-Arcade Tankstick is a wonderful piece of design and engineering but has some weak links to cut costs. The joysticks in the X-arcade are lesser quality joysticks than the price tag would indicate, but with $15 and some elbow grease you can replace one joystick with a Happ. This CGR video review of the Happ Competition Joystick shows how to mod and install a Happ joystick in an X-Arcade Tank Stick and reviews the resulting modded joystick controller.

game | Donkey Kong Original Full Playthrough JP Arcade Version

Donkey Kong Original Full Playthrough JP Arcade Version

This is emulated with MAME 0.119+. The American version only has the 1st and last levels, but the Japanese version also has the 2nd and 3rd. The name of this ROM is "Japan set 1".There were a couple mistakes, but this was quick to complete compared to my many other videos. I'm sorry if my lack of skill in this game doesn't please you enough.HOW HIGH CAN YOU GET?LEVEL 1: 25m: Jump over barrels, or smash them with hammers, and climb ladders to reach Pauline.LEVEL 2: 50m: Reach Donkey Kong's floor by climbing moving ladders and passing conveyer belts while avoiding fires, pies, and Donkey Kong, himself.LEVEL 3: 75m: Use elevators and ladders while avoiding fires and springboards to reach Pauline's floor.LEVEL 4: 100m: Use ladders to climb and break all of the pegs, while avoiding or destroying puffy flames with hammers.. Once you break all of the pegs, Donkey Kong will fall, and Jumpman, a.k.a. Mario, will be reunited for good. And then the game starts RIGHT over again... *sigh* --------------In Levels 2 - 4, you can collect items for extra points. These are Pauline's sunhat, umbrella, and purse. The Bonus at the top-right corner of the screen is also a time limit. 1 second of time multiplied by 100 represents the Bonus points you get after beating the level. If the Bonus hits 000, you die!In Levels 1 & 4, hammers will let you break barrels in Level 1, and flames in Level 4 for a few seconds. However, you can't jump with them, and you can't climb ladders with them. Because of how they're set up in those levels, you can't even use them to hit Donkey Kong if you tried. Notice how the flames in Level 4 turn blue when you grab a hammer. It's as if you were Pac-Man and they were Ghosts.American NES Version: http:www.youtube.comwatch?v=mKU3pU...American Arcade (US set 1) Version: http:www.youtube.comwatch?v=P2Lrm-... --------------WOW! Classic Game Room NINTENDO PINBALL for NES review

Nintendo Pinball video review. Classic Game Room reviews NINTENDO PINBALL for NES from 1983 for the original Nintendo Entertainment System. Given the age of this game it plays really well and actually feels like a fun pinball machine on the 8-bit NES game console! Play pinball on your NES with the simply titles "pinball" game cartridge. Even though Mario is in the game (found in a bonus stage) he doesn't even get featured in the title, but Mario from Super Mario Bros. is on the game cartridge itself. This excellent pinball videogame for Nintendo NES is not one to be missed by old school video game pinball fans! NES Pinball video review shows Nintendo Pinball gameplay in HD action on N.E.S.

Classic Game Room PANASONIC 3DO console review model FZ 1

Panasonic 3DO review. Classic Game Room reviews the PANASONIC 3DO video game console model FZ-1 released in 1993. The Panasonic 3DO has an awesome library of video games like Road Rash, Myst and Novastorm but unfortunately was released with a $700 price tag in the early 90's, yikes! Failure in the marketplace followed but the awesome games still arrived on the Panasonic 3DO. Panasonic 3DO video review features Panasonic 3DO model FZ-1 (as well as comparison shot vs. model FZ-10). Prone to breakage and difficult to repair, the Panasonic 3DO is for serious collectors looking to relive the early 90's in style with some awesome games.

game | Classic Game Room CATHERINE review

Classic Game Room CATHERINE review

Classic Game Room reviews CATHERINE on Playstation 3 (and Xbox 360) from Atlus, a bizarre puzzle game where Fatal Attraction meets Climbing for Dollars (Running Man anyone?)!!! From the team that brought you Persona comes Catherine, a mystery, thriller mixed with a Japanese horror movie, anime and strategic puzzle game where your character climbs to save his life! Vincent is having strange dreams that he can't remember and his girlfriend is pressuring him to get married... oh and she's pregnant. Maybe Vincent shouldn't be cheating on Katherine with Catherine, a psycho hottie that he meets in the bar. Catherine packs a solid story, multiple endings and puzzle gameplay that can be enjoyed numerous times. If you dig games like Persona and the Shin Megami Tensei series as well as puzzle thinking games then Catherine is for you (the non-crazy one maybe). This CGR video review of Catherine has gameplay from the PS3 Playstation 3 version of Catherine, also available for Xbox 360 from Atlus USA.
