Classic Game Room HD reviews THE CONDUIT for Nintendo Wii from Sega. Is The Conduit the best first person shooter on the Wii? CGRHD thinks so. A cool single player campaign, multiplayer that works and excellent production values make The Conduit a must have for action game fans with a Wii. No longer can you complain about shovelware shooters, Sega has delivered the goods and the goods are called 'Da Condooit. Can ya do it? I Conduit! So can you! This CGRHD review of The Conduit has gameplay footage from The Conduit on Wii showing single player FPS shooting and multiplayer on Nintendo Wii in The Conduit. It is a science fiction game with aliens and stuff and bad guys and a conspiracy and.... whatever, shotguns, rocket launchers, laser guns and machine guns!! Deathmatch, team deathmatch and more over Nintendo Wi-Fi. Conduit is Sega's answer to what didn't exist in the first place. A good, non-stop, action packed Wii shooter with functioning multiplayer.

CGRundertow CONDUIT 2 for Nintendo Wii Video Game Review

Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Conduit 2 from High Voltage Software and SEGA for the Nintendo Wii. One of the only notable third party Wii releases of 2011, Conduit 2 is a sequel to the 2009 game The Conduit. Michael Ford is still on a chase for John Adams, a jerk who wants to use the power of alien race for his own nefarious purposes. It's again up to Ford to take Adams down in a story that never has much appeal. This is a shooter in an old-school vein, focusing more on giving players cool ways to shoot aliens than telling them cool stories about aliens. Conduit 2 is all about the gameplay. The levels are laid out like an action movie, stringing together enemy ambushes and gun fights with very brief cut scenes. Conduit 2 is a gorgeous shooter that doesn't spare targets or ammunition, but it furthers that action with an assembly of characters that are, unfortunately, far less enjoyable. This video review features video gameplay footage of Conduit 2 for the Nintendo Wii and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek. game | Classic Game Room HD METROID PRIME 3 CORRUPTION Wii review

Classic Game Room HD METROID PRIME 3 CORRUPTION Wii review

Classic Game Room HD reviews METROID PRIME 3: CORRUPTION for Nintendo Wii. Samus is back in the 3rd Metroid Prime (the 1st two are on Gamecube) and pushed the Wii to its limits with outstanding visuals, smooth gameplay and explosive sounds. Why don't all Wii games look like this?? This CGRHD review of Metroid Prime 3 Corruption has gameplay footage from Metroid Prime Corruption showing Samus in game play, are you stuck in a section? Well, hope you found this in a search engine because I used the word stuck, Xbox 360 and PS3 (ha!), but I can't help you there. However CGRHD likes Metroid Prime 3 Corruption and gives it a good review with favorable opinions. Although CGRHD prefers non-stop blasting and explosions, the puzzle and problem solving parts of Metroid Prime 3 will appeal to fans of the series and fans of science fiction adventure games. This is a first person shooter style game that uses the Wii controller and nunchuk to control where Samus aims and moves. It's a very unique control system that has rave reviews from Wii fans everywhere. Turn into a pinball and roll through tight spots, double jump, use the super fancy-word power up laser thingy and upgrade your awesome space ship. Metroid Prime 3 Corruption is a flagship title on the Wii and is a well made, challenging and lengthy video game from Nintendo. While I still prefer the 1987 NES Metroid, this one is a must play on the Nintendo Wii. Will there be a Metroid Prime 4 release in 2009 or 2010? Is there a Nintendo Wii 2 with a new Metroid Prime in HD? Maybe, or maybe you just found this by searching for it because you dreamed it. There should be. Dig Dug should also make a guest appearance.

game | Classic Game Room BLACK for PS2 review

Classic Game Room BLACK for PS2 review

Classic Game Room HD reviews BLACK for Playstation 2 PS2. Bang! Explode! Boom! Black is the most explosive shooter that CGR has played and one of the most outrageously fun. Over the top explosions, firepower and waves of mindless goons make Black an entertaining game that should appeal to fans of stylish shooters like Red Faction, Time Splitters and others. Not quite as technical and precise as many current favorites, Black revels in its fanfare of shattered glass, shell casings and exploding random barrels and trucks. This CGR review of the first person shooter Black has gameplay from the PS2 video game, Black, showing FPS action on Playstation 2 in Black in HD. Will there be a sequel to Black called Black 2 on PS3 Playstation 3 soon? We can only hope.... perhaps it will be called Black 2 sequel Bodycount for PS3 and Xbox 360...?

Classic Game Room HD LINK S CROSSBOW TRAINING review Wii

Classic Game Room HD reviews LINK'S CROSSBOW TRAINING for the Nintendo Wii, the video game that comes packed in with the Wii Zapper gun add-on for shooting games on the Wii. This CGRHD review of Links Crossbow Training has gameplay footage of Link's Crossbow Trainer being played. Is this just a cheap throw-away pack-in game or is it actually a well made, fun shooting gun game for the Wii? Watch the review and see. Link is the hero of the Zelda games from Nintendo and it's fun to see him blasting away at monters, skeletons and other exotic creatures here in Link's Crossbow Training. The environments are well rendered, game play is smooth and consistent and it challenges you by keeping track of high scores and pushing you to shoot faster and with better aim using a crossbow. Check it out, if you get the Wii Zapper you get this game from Nintendo. game | Classic Game Room HD FAR CRY VENGEANCE for Wii review

Classic Game Room HD FAR CRY VENGEANCE for Wii review

Classic Game Room HD reviews FAR CRY VENGEANCE for the Nintendo Wii. We shed many a tear while playing this game. It made us cry with its horrid controls, awful graphics and terrible enemy AI. There is a new Far Cry 2 out for PS3 and Xbox 360 which looks awesome!! This game... well, pick up Far Cry 2 instead. Far Cry Vengeance was a major disappointment for us. Granted this game is cheap now and easy to find, you can pick up a copy for $5-$15 out there in Internet land or at a used game store. The footage and gameplay of FarCry Vengeance will show the kind of game that this is, a game that was clearly made for another game console and then ported over to the Wii with a great deal of sloppitude (we made that word up). This Far Cry review does not sugar coat the fact that although there may be great games with the name Far Cry, this one on the Wii is not them. You play as some bohunk with a collection of machine guns and machetes, helped out by a stereotypical hottie with a crop top and sorted past. Fight your way through tropical jungles, jet ski wonder vacations and crappy air bases. Use the Predator mode for further frustration. Far Cry Vengeance should only be played by those who are desperate for a shooter on the Wii and only have $5 in their pocket. Classic Game Room reviews all kinds of new and old video games to help you make up your mind about buying them. Revisit the past, present and future of gaming at Classic Game Room.

game | The Conduit Wii Gameplay

The Conduit Wii Gameplay

This is some gameplay of The Conduit on the Nintendo Wii.Sorry for the delay in posting new vids, but lately I haven't felt like being cooped up in doors.Anywhoo, I've had this game for a few weeks now, and only started playing it a couple of days ago. I haven't taken it online yet, but I must say, I'm past the fifth level, and I'm kind of disappointed with some of the design decisions they made in the game so far (like regenerating enemies that rush you, and some that explode making for a more annoying than fun time). In the first few levels I was having a good time, but level 5 which I just beat tonight annoyed the hell out of me. Not that this is a bad game, and it's definitely worth a look if you're a Wii owner looking for more meat on the system. So far it's a decent shooter, and it's art style reminds me of Area 51 on the PS2 and Xbox which is a plus. It's level setup feels more like older FPS games like Perfect Dark on the N64. I'll save my final verdict until I finish the game, and take it online. I did enjoy the first few levels, so maybe the last few will pick back up.As for the much heralded Wiimote controls in the game, they're OK. The Wii fanboys I have conversed with over the forums I frequent have overrated motion controls. Some (those who don't play PC games) even suggest that wiimote controls are superior to mouse controls which is one of the dumbest things I've ever heard. You can take a controller into a wiimote game, and still rape. You can take a controller into a Playstation Move compatible game, and still rape. You take a controller into a mouse game, you will get raped. Anyone familiar with the Quake Rail gun could tell you that one. PC fanboys may be overly douchey sometimes, but they are right about the accuracy and speed of the mouse. Nothing touches it.

game | Classic Game Room HD TUROK DINOSAUR HUNTER for N64 review

Classic Game Room HD TUROK DINOSAUR HUNTER for N64 review

Classic Game Room HD reviews TUROK DINOSAUR HUNTER from 1997 for the Nintendo 64. This first person shooter adventure on the N64 takes players on a romp through the Land of the Lost... which is easy to get lost in because it all looks the same. Even though Turok seems incredibly dated today this classic title is still extremely playable because of its responsive controls and overall high quality gameplay. Blast dinosaurs, monsters and pathetic bad guys with a variety of weapons including shotguns and machine guns. Use an on-screen map to find your location and hunt down keys to unlock numerous levels in Turok. This CGR review of Turok Dinosaur Hunter on N64 has gameplay from this Nintendo 64 first person shooter FPS, Turok Dinosaur Hunter. A popular game, Turok was followed by many sequels including a more recent one just called Turok on PS3 and Xbox 360. How do you find the keys in Turok on the huge levels? Lots of exploring, lots of swimming and spellunking, lots of shooting! Published by Acclaim for N64.

Watch in High Definition! Classic Game Room HD reviews X-MEN ORIGINS WOLVERINE! Hack and slash enemies into bite sized chunks in this non-stop action packed gorefest of mayhem. XMEN WOLVERINE ORIGINS is an awesome acrade style action game with a storyline console feel, it is available on Xbox 360, PS3, PS2, Wii and PC. This CGRHD review of XMEN ORIGINS WOLVERINE has gameplay footage from X-MEN ORIGINS WOLVERINE recorded from Xbox 360, but the PS3 version should look very similar. Earn achievement points (and trophies) in X-Men Origins Wolverine as you play through the game, level Wolverine up with more health and skills and waste bad guys in a variety of bloody ways. While game play can be a bit choppy at times and the music and sounds aren't the best out there, the easy to use control system combined with excellent, nontop action make Wolverine a very FUN game.
