Classic Game Room HD reviews DARKEST OF DAYS for Xbox 360 where you fight your way through history in this very interesting and bizarre first person shooter! Ever wanted to tear through the American Civil War with a futuristic machine gun, or run through the trenches in WW1 with superballs that save people from being wiped out of time??? Well, if you can take the technical glitches and jerky gameplay then you may really dig Darkest of Days for Xbox 360. This CGR review of Darkest of Days has gameplay from this science fiction historical shooter where you engage in combat during the Civil War, WW1, WW2 and more. Antique weapons and sci fi artillery are at your disposal, but not all at once. Darkest of Days may just be the weirdest FPS you'll ever play with a lengthy storyline and odd animation scenes. It's not for everyone, but for those who enjoyed the Highlander TV show or Quantum Leap it may be right up your alley.

Classic Game Room BLACK for PS2 review

Classic Game Room HD reviews BLACK for Playstation 2 PS2. Bang! Explode! Boom! Black is the most explosive shooter that CGR has played and one of the most outrageously fun. Over the top explosions, firepower and waves of mindless goons make Black an entertaining game that should appeal to fans of stylish shooters like Red Faction, Time Splitters and others. Not quite as technical and precise as many current favorites, Black revels in its fanfare of shattered glass, shell casings and exploding random barrels and trucks. This CGR review of the first person shooter Black has gameplay from the PS2 video game, Black, showing FPS action on Playstation 2 in Black in HD. Will there be a sequel to Black called Black 2 on PS3 Playstation 3 soon? We can only hope.... perhaps it will be called Black 2 sequel Bodycount for PS3 and Xbox 360...?

Watch in High Definition! Classic Game Room HD reviews WANTED WEAPONS OF FATE for PS3 and Xbox 360. This review has gameplay footage from the PS3 version of Wanted Weapons of Fate, with review gameplay in HD for Wanted. The follow-up to the movie Wanted (which ran in theaters, not on DVD and Blu Ray), Wanted has you playing as Wesley and his father Cross. This violent third person style shooter is above average for this style of game. Although short, the game is fun, enjoyable and features some cool tricks like curving bullets. Wanted for PS3 has trophies and the Xbox 360 version of Wanted has achievement points. You can also unlock artwork, drawings and a harder difficulty mode. If you like shooters and are looking for something that has a duck and cover style of gameplay mixed with some good graphics and cinematics then check this one out. game | Classic Game Room HD WOLFENSTEIN review

Classic Game Room HD WOLFENSTEIN review

Classic Game Room HD - WOLFENSTEIN for Xbox 360 video game review! This CGR review of Wolfenstein has gameplay from Wolfenstein on Xbox 360, also on PS3 Playstation 3. Wolfenstein is like Call of Duty 2 meets Soul Reaver crossed with Bioshock. The single play campaign is extremely cool and lots of fun. The folks at id have poured a lot of creativity into Wolfenstein to make a first person shooter that stands out from the crowd, and thanks to the massive dose of style and awesomeness they've done just that. Return to Castle Awesomestein! Slaughter Nazi bad guys with a variety of WWII weapons and some serious sci-fi type stuff like particle beams. Use your Veil, upgrade your MP-40 and rock this game with some shooting mayhem. Take the time to explore and find some gold, I really dug Wolfenstein and enjoyed the storyline, gameplay and art design. I did not like the multiplayer because it was jerky, odd and strangely out of date. The maps were sloppy and overall presentation was kind of wack compared to the big multiplyer games like COD4, WAW and Halo 3 on XBLA. Aside from that I'd recommend Wolfenstein for those looking for a memorable and action packed first person shooter adventure worth playing more than once.

game | Classic Game Room HD DAMNATION for PS3 review

Classic Game Room HD DAMNATION for PS3 review

Classic Game Room HD reviews DAMNATION for Playstation 3, this game is also on Xbox 360 and PC. The PS3 version features trophies for Damnation and multiplayer. This game is a mixed bag of something... it's really cool on one hand and pretty clumsy in the other. This CGRHD review has Damnation gameplay showing game play in action for Damnation on PS3 (and Xbox 360 probably looks the same). A shooter that takes place in the future but it's also the past, or maybe the present but somewhere a few minutes ago that you just missed. Who cares... it's the Wild West in science fiction zany-town. You are some guy with a big hat and several guns who has Indian spirit-vision and travels with a busty, cleavage packing sidekick. Shoot steam powered machine guns, ride steam powered motorcycles and fight steam powered robots. Damnation is a "Steampunk" video game... I read that somewhere. Steam Punk... seriously? An alternate future that uses steam like we use magic! Damnation gets pretty bad reviews and I'll agree it is not for everyone, but it does pack an awesome sense of scale and if you can get sucked into the crazy storyline you may enjoy the game. You may not... it's not a smooth game, Damnation is clunky and at times poorly programmed. Bad guy AI is third string and the vehicles suck. But the scale and epic sci-fi feeling are pretty cool. Damnation! Awww, damn!! Classic Game Room HD reviews Damnation for PS3 as a PS3 reviewer with a Damnation review on PS3 showing gameplay in HD.

game | Battle of Britain The Kanalkampf by Barfly 2011

Battle of Britain The Kanalkampf by Barfly 2011

Made with IL-2 Cliffs of Dover and Poser Pro July 2011. This short action-filled movie about the first phase of the Battle of Britain, fought over the English Channel with heavy participation by Luftwaffe Stuka dive-bombers, sets the bar at the highest level yet for a movie created using the Cliffs of Dover (COD) flight sim. The opening scenes are impossible to differentiate from actual WWII newsreel footage, while the incorporation of pilot animation sequences also brings "life" to the movie to a degree seldom achieved in flightsim movies. Superb post-processing video and audio effects complement the raw COD-captured footage. Awarded the Golden OLEG for achievement in flightsim movie realism and technical mastery in the use of animated human characters. http:flightsimmachinima.montydan.comgolden-oleg

game | Classic Game Room HD PERFECT DARK ZERO for Xbox 360 review

Classic Game Room HD PERFECT DARK ZERO for Xbox 360 review

Classic Game Room HD reviews PERFECT DARK ZERO for Xbox 360 from 2005, an early release for the 360 and a memorable first person shooter from Rare. This CGRHD review of Perfect Dark Zero has gameplay footage from Perfect Dark Zero showing game play during this FPS featuring Joanna Dark in a prequel to the Perfect Dark storyline on N64. Use a clever variety of weapons in creative levels that keep the game fresh and interesting from beginning to end. Perfect Dark Zero can be bought today for a song and while it seems slow compared to some more popular shooters these days. The game itself remains technically solid, smooth and sounds awesome. The storyline is sub-par but the replay value due to the amazing level design is high, and that's what really stands out with this game. Awesome levels, techo style music and lots of cool futuristic weaponry make this an easy game to drop $5 on and add to your collection.

game | Classic Game Room HD CALL OF DUTY 2 review Xbox 360

Classic Game Room HD CALL OF DUTY 2 review Xbox 360

Classic Game Room HD reviews CALL OF DUTY 2 for Xbox 360 (also on PC). Call of Duty 2 is developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision, it takes place during World War 2 and features several characters from the allied perspective. You play as a Russian, British soldier and American and fight wave after wave of Nazis in dozens of intense battles across the globe. Massive in size and scope, COD2 has an immense single player campaign that is both challenging and exhilerating with constant, non stop gunfights and some vehicle levels. Duke it out across deserts, wrecked cities and through France during the D-Day operation, this early release for the Xbox 360 was a pretty heavy hitter as far as first person shooters go. Extremely affordable today and overshadowed by its younger sibling, COD4 Modern Warfare, Call of Duty 2 should not be overlooked by fans of action games, FPS shooters and WW2 video game enthusiasts. This CGRHD review of Call of Duty 2 has gameplay footage from COD2 showing game play during this World War II video game where the din of battle rarely dies down.

game | Classic Game Room HD BLAZING ANGELS 2 for Xbox 360 review

Classic Game Room HD BLAZING ANGELS 2 for Xbox 360 review

Classic Game Room HD reviews BLAZING ANGELS 2 for the Xbox 360, also available for PS3 and PC. This Blazing Angels 2 review shows gameplay and footage from the WW2 airplane combat arcade action shooting game! This game's full title is Blazing Angels 2: Secret Missions of WWII and the gameplay is fast and exciting with lots of enemies on screen to shoot down with a variety of World War 2 vintage aircraft. It is a stylized comic book style plot and action game with a cool fictionalized storyline involving the Germans and some kind of super-top secret weapon and lots and lots of airplanes. Destroy ground targets and air targets, tanks, zeppelins, AA gunfire turrets, boats and more. Blazing Angels 2 should appeal to fans of arcade style flight simulators without much emphasis on realism, it should also appeal to fans of FPS first person shooter games who want to try something different. Classic Game Room reviews Xbox 360 games and is a reviewer that reviewed Blazing Angels 2 in high definition. Blaze on!
