Classic Game Room reviews the NINTENDO 64 video game console from Nintendo released in 1996. The N64 is Nintendo's 64-bit answer to the Atari Jaguar and plays videogame cartridges instead of CDs like the Playstation and Sega Saturn. This video review of Nintendo 64 shows a gray N64 videogame console with a matte grey finish and blue controller. The N64 is the successor to the Super Nintendo SNES game console (and uses the same wires) and the predecessor to the Nintendo Gamecube and Nintendo Wii. This CGR review of Nintendo 64 system shows the N64 game system in glorious HD video.

Classic Game Room HD SEGA DREAMCAST Console Review

Classic Game Room HD reviews the Sega Dreamcast video game console released on 9999! One of the many days that the world was supposed to end was actually a day to celebrate because the Sega Dreamcast was released and it promised to change the world! Sadly, 2 years later support had dwindled and popular support was pulled. How is it that one of the greatest video game systems in history could suffer such a short lifespan? Well, collecting a Sega Dreamcast and a library of awesome games has never been easier or more affordable. Filmed on the 10 year anniversary of the North American release of the Dreamcast, CGR takes a look at the awesome white box with the orange swirl. Fans of arcade titles, shooters and Sega classics should definitely consider a Dreamcast as a contender for their next game system. Controllers, cords and memory cards are easy to come by and classics like Shenmue, Sega GT, Sea Man, Giga Wing and Chu Chu Rocket (DC version) are only available on the Sega Dreamcast. There are more than 600 games released for the system, including many that saw a sub-par release on the PS1 like Soul Reaver. The Dreamcast is literally on sale these days thanks to eBay and the fact that it is now a decade old.

game | Classic Game Room HD GOLDENEYE 007 for Nintendo 64 review

Classic Game Room HD GOLDENEYE 007 for Nintendo 64 review

Classic Game Room reviews GOLDENEYE for the Nintendo 64 N64 video game console. This N64 review shows gameplay through various levels and missions in the game. Although instead of completing most levels smoothly and by the books, CGR went crazy just like Bond in License to Kill... we went rogue! We slaughtered everyone without mercy including scientists in lilly white lab coats. Take that brainiac! Think you can outsmart a hail of bullets from James Bond!? GOLDENEYE from Rare for the N64 is one of the best first person shooters ever created. It has a massive single player mission, intense and exciting gameplay, smooth controls and excellent sound design. After playing this game again we can see why CGR likes Time Splitters so much... it was made by some of the same designers! Goldeneye raised the bar quite high for shooters on home consoles. No longer were FPS games just for PC gamers who clogged computer labs with Doom for days on end, now you could sit in the comfort of your own sloth-hole and shoot through the Golden Eye video game or blast your friends in multiplayer. This was before online multiplayer so you actually had to have friends in the same location... Although little more can be learned about Goldeneye after millions of people have fallen in love with this game and written volumes about it, Classic Game Room gives is a nice retro review where we recommend it to new gamers who may have missed it the first time, and challenge those who played it in 1997 to pick Goldeneye back up and crush the enemies of James Bond one more time. Classic Game Room is the ultimate retro video game review show online, in space and underwater. If you want to watch old school game reviews, watch Classic Game Room. Goldeneye needs a remake for the PS3 and Xbox 360, will it ever be remade?

game | Classic Game Room SUPER NINTENDO console review

Classic Game Room SUPER NINTENDO console review

Classic Game Room HD reviews the SUPER NINTENDO video game console which was released in the U.S. in 1991. A fan favorite and many viewers' first game system, the Super Nintendo delivered awesome video games with a 16 bit style that differed from its main rival, the Sega Genesis. Smoother visuals and that Nintendo flair for lengthy games packed with months of gameplay made the SNES game console the system to own for fans of Mario games and Zelda. Could you find Super Metroid on the Genesis, Sega CD or 32S? No! (but could you find Cosmic Carnage on the SNES... No!) This Super Nintendo video game console review shows games and the game system up close. Relive the days when competing video game consoles were actually different and played different games. Reminisce about different sound effects, music design and graphics that separated rival Nintendo from Sega. The American Super Nintendo may be built to last and works like a champ but suffers from a case of the uglies. These days many of the best Super Nintendo games can be found on the Nintendo Wii Virtual Console and downloaded for a few bucks. Games like Super Mario Kart on SNES and Super Mario World still hold their value and bring back years of memories for collectors.

Classic Game Room reviews the SUPERPAD 64 controller for the Nintendo 64. The Superpad 64 is a cheap aftermarket controller to buy if you need more controllers or replace broken or lost ones, but the Super Pad 64 for N64 is sub par at best.

Classic Game Room reviews N64 Controller for Nintendo 64

Classic Game Room HD reviews the NINTENDO 64 N64 controller! This N64 controller reviews filmed in High Definition HD clarity, shows the N64 controller. Classic Game Room has to admit, this isn't our favorite controller and we explain why... however, if you want to play awesome games like Goldeneye and Robotron 64, this is the controller you'll be using. A unique design created by Nintendo that resembles the Y-Wing from Star Wars, the N64 controller will stand out in a crowd. Our controller is blue! Hooray! If you are going to play Mario or Donkey Kong games on the N64 here's the controller for you, the N64 controller! Classic Game Room also muses about the good ole' days of Nintendo vs. Sega rivalry... sigh. It was so good back then. Classic Game Room brings the best in HD reviews of classic video games and new games. As far as old school, retro reviewers and review shows go, Classic Game Room is hype! Filmed in 1080i HD Widescreen with Canon XH-A1 XHA1 camera.

Classic Game Room Wii U console review

Wii U review. http:www.ClassicGameRoom.com Shop CGR shirts & mugs http:www.CGRstore.com Classic Game Room reviews the Nintendo Wii U game console with the biggest screen boasting controller ever created! The Nintendo Wii U game system gets the complete CGR treatment with New Super Mario Bros. U, Call of Duty Black Ops II and Nintendo vs. Sega, Game.com and Atari Lynx. The WiiU has a lot of features and a unique touch screen controller that comes in handy, but does poor battery life and a unique controller take away from what the mass market really wants? Nintendo fans should like the increased Wii performance, great HD visuals, Wi-Fi and awesome backwards compatibility with original Wii titles. The Wii shop and Wii-verse are also pretty neat. But, can the Wii U really compete with the Vectrex??

Portable N64

Edit - June 21 2011: i thought of a way to make this a lot smaller, as small as 1.5 inches thick, only im a little lazy right now and i have other priorities at the moment. Perhaps i'll do it later at some point in the not so near future. Friend's account is vSterNvIt took me about 1 year to do the background research on how to build it. It took me about 3 months to actually build it. The screen, back triggers, and wallheadphones ports are from the PS1, and everything else is from an N64 put into a box. It's fully functional and is my first model. Other information is in the video. Pictures: http:img814.imageshack.usgimg0873z.jpg Special thanks to benheck.com and bacman.co.uk

Pikachu N64 review. http:www.ClassicGameRoom.com Shop CGR: http:www.CGRstore.com Classic Game Room reviews the JAPANESE PIKACHU N64 video game console from Nintendo. This bright orange Pokemon-themed Nintendo 64 is loud and proud with Pikachu molded right into the front of it. Play some import games with the loudest N64 that you can find with a matching orange and yellow controller that screams PIKACHU NINTENDO 64. Why settle for the boring blue Pikachu N64 when you can have orange? (assuming you want to play Japanese-only games of course) Japanese Pokemon special edition N64 works on Western TVs with NTSC video and plays like any other Nintendo 64 except Pikachu's cheeks light up red when the unit is powered up!

Heavily modified Nintendo 64. Switchless, remote, backlit, RGB N64 mod...

My N64. Hope you like it. PLEASE READ:FAQ: This is the only one I will make :-) Sorry, but I didn't put this video here to entice people to buy or commission me to make them an N64 like this. I just thought I'd share what I have made.HOW LONG DID IT TAKE?: 4 months of pretty much all of my free time. That sounds like a long time, but there was a lot of trial and error involved as most of the mods in here have not been done before (at least, not to my knowledge). I didn't copy anyone for this mod. The only thing that can probably be considered "mainstream" (from a modder's perspective) is the RGB mod. This is well documented on the internet.WHY DIDN'T YOU BUILD THE TRANSMITTER INTO THE CONTROLLER?: Didn't want to :-) Plain and simple. I didn't want the system to be reliant on a single controller - and I didn't want to mod a controller anyway because by the time I'd finished the actual console, I was sick to death of the whole project ;-)WHY DIDN'T YOU MAKE THE CONTROLLERS WIRELESS?: 1) I like the look of the asymmetrical single controller port. 2) You have to sacrifice the Controller Pak slot. Too many games use the Controller Pak to save. So I'm not doing this.WILL YOU TAKE IT APART AGAIN AND SHOW ME HOW YOU DID IT?: Nope :-) I don't want to run a modding helpline for the rest of my life. Sorry. Thanks for watching.

Classic Game Room reviews STAR FOX 64 for Nintendo 64 released in 1997. This CGR video review of Starfox 64 has Star Fox 64 gameplay from N64 showing StarFox 64 in HD action! StarFox is a space ship shooter with a camera behind the Arwing perspective as Fox McCloud saves the Lylat system from evil! Game play in Star Fox 64 is fast and smooth considering the age of this 3D styled game with solid N64 era visuals and awesome action. A Star Fox 64 3D remake for Nintendo 3DS is now available, the original N64 Starfox 64 game cartridge can be readily found but still retains much of its value because of the quality and replayability of the videogame. Star Fox 64 was the first N64 video game to work with the Rumble Pak!
