The N64 is Nintendo's 64-bit answer to the Atari Jaguar and plays videogame cartridges instead of CDs like the Playstation and Sega Saturn. This video review of Nintendo 64 shows a gray N64 videogame console with a matte grey finish and blue controller. The N64 is the successor to the Super Nintendo SNES game console (and uses the same wires) and the predecessor to the Nintendo Gamecube and Nintendo Wii. This CGR review of Nintendo 64 system shows the N64 game system in glorious HD video.

The 3DO Interactive Mulitplayer and Atari Jaguar both launched in 1993, Nintendo used the Super FX chip to create polygonal 3D games like Star Fox and Stunt Race FX on the Super Nintendo, while Sega used the SVP chip to create a home port of arcade hit Virtua Racing on the Genesis. In 1993, Nintendo partnered with Silicon Graphics to develop their next-generation hardware, while in 1995, the release of both the Sega Saturn and Sony Playstation signaled the "real" beginning of home 3D gaming. After numerous delays, Nintendo finally joined the next generation of consoles, as the Nintendo 64 was launched in Japan and North America in mid 1996. Although many gamers who grew up playing the Nintendo Entertainment System had, by the mid 90's, moved on to more "grown-up" systems like the Playstation and Saturn, the Nintendo 64 was a big part of the 90's childhood, and made Nintendo fanatics out of a whole new generation of gamers.Show Notes:- This show took 9 months (on and off) to make. - All gameplay footage was captured using an RGB-modded Nintendo 64 upscaled through a Framemeister and recorded using an Elgato Game Capture HD.Music courtesy of Kevin MacLeod (www.smartsound.comroyalty-free-musicincompetech)#CGQuarterly #LaunchVids #Nintendo64

FOUND Ultra Rare Nintendo Prototype N64 Add On US Version of 64DD

In the mid 1990s, Nintendo announced the 64DD disk drive add-on for the N64 for the US market ....but it never came out. Instead the Japanese version of the drive crashed and burned upon release and it took all the hopes of US gamers ever buying one along with it. For almost 20 years it was consider a myth that an actual US retail version exists... until now. I have found a working prototype of the 64DD for the US market AND it contains a developer blue diskette inside of its drive. This unit is unique in many ways and in this video I tell you all the things that make it special...and what happens next...UPDATE to BLUE DISK: https:youtu.bePe-fs1COgr0FOLLOW US Twitter: http:twitter.comMetalJesusRocks Facebook: http:facebook.comMetalJesusRocks Site: http:www.MetalJesusRocks.comBUY GAMES HERE: http:goo.glmBiAlG Consider Supporting my Videos on Patreon: http:www.Patreon.comMetalJesusRocksBackground music by: Metal Jesus Rocks & Ethan Meixsell

No matter how long you actually played the console, there were likely some hidden features you had no clue the console could do. Learn about these various tricks and consider dusting off the old thing to try them out for yourself! If you love the Nintendo 64 controllers or emulating classic games on the computer, then you can actually use the original controller designs. A USB adapter allows two controllers to be plugged into the same USB port and can be used for a variety of games. The Nintendo 64 and Game Boy Color had little interaction until a Pokemon game gave players a way to play Game Boy on a full-sized TV. The original NES power glove was a big bust, but that didn’t stop developers from creating a rare glove design for the N64. The clunky accessory wasn’t used for any exclusive game, but did provide some fun. The N64 expansion pak was essential for some games, but it also added a lot enhancements to other titles. Online gaming was not used on the standard N64, but players who got their hands on the N64DD could actually go online with various games. The N64 only plays N64 cartridges, but a third-party accessory allowed players to play both older NES and Super Nintendo games they still have laying around. Special versions of the N64 controller were actually used as television remotes. If you didn’t like the controller, the N64 also released a special mouse and keyboard package for the 64DD. A lot of countries got exclusive N64 games and you could get your hands on them thanks to a special region-free add-on. Online access and email could be obtained through a special N64 add-on known as Sharkwire. Classic Game Room HD ATARI 7800 ProSystem review

Watch in high definition! Classic Game Room HD reviews the Atari 7800 ProSystem from 1986! The Atari 7800 Pro System was originally supposed to be released in 1984 but was delayed due to the market in those years. After the success of the NES in 1985 the Atari was released in 1986 to an un-enthusiastic public. The Atari 7800 has an excellent variety of arcade games like Xevious, Ms. Pac Man and Robotron 2084. Numerous original Atari video games like Desert Falcon and Ballblazer are available for the system, as well as favorites like Choplifter, Mario Bros. and Donkey Kong. This hardware review features the Atari 7800 game console, the American Atari 7800 controller, the European Atari 7800 controller, the Atari 7800 instruction manual and an Atari catalog from 1986 called "Get the Atari Advantage!" The Atari 7800 is backwards compatible with Atari 2600 games and plays the library of 2600 classics like Yars Revenge and Berzerk! Classic Game Room loves the old Atari consoles and collects Atari gear. Check out CGRHD Atari 7800 reviews because Classic Game Room is an Atari 7800 reviewer reviewing Atari 7800 games. Classic Game Room HD NES ACTION SET Unboxing Review

Watch in High Definition! Classic Game Room HD reviews the experience unboxing a NES ACTION SET from 1990! The Nintendo Entertainment System was sold in many different versions over many years, the Action Set was a later incarnation of the NES lineup and came packed with a Nintendo toaster system, NES Zapper, two controllers, Nintendo Power magazine advertisement, Nintendo poster and all accessories needed to hook an NES up to a television. The previous CGRHD NES toaster broke, and after replacing the 72 pin connector was still not working properly. We had to finally replace our trusty Nintendo. After searching the Earth for a new NES it was decided that Classic Game Room wanted an original toaster model of the NES because it has a superior video output and that old school Nintendo style. A used Nintendo was found, sold complete with its original box and all add-ons. CGRHD jumped at the chance to unbox an NES and picked it up! This review coveres the packaging and experience unboxing a Nintendo Entertainment System! Enjoy the un box video as an NES is un boxed!
