The N64 is Nintendo's 64-bit answer to the Atari Jaguar and plays videogame cartridges instead of CDs like the Playstation and Sega Saturn. This video review of Nintendo 64 shows a gray N64 videogame console with a matte grey finish and blue controller. The N64 is the successor to the Super Nintendo SNES game console (and uses the same wires) and the predecessor to the Nintendo Gamecube and Nintendo Wii. This CGR review of Nintendo 64 system shows the N64 game system in glorious HD video.

These are The Gamer's 10 Biggest FAILS Nintendo Wants You To Forget. What do you think the biggest failure was? Do you think Nintendo has turned things around with the Switch? While the Nintendo 64, Switch, and series of Mario games were all hits, there were a few blunders along the way. Before the Nintendo 64 was released to the masses, the console was being developed with Sony, but a battle over discs led to the partnership being canceled. Being a huge Nintendo fan should come with some perks, but the My Nintendo Rewards program is nothing special for fans.Nintendo has developed some classic games and some of the earlier ones were made thanks to their development company known as Rare. In an odd move, Nintendo sold Rare and lost out on several future gaming franchises. Nintendo has been very protective over characters like Link and Mario, but the company actually loaned them to Phillips for the release of two CD-I games. Long before VR headsets were a thing, Nintendo tried their hand at it with the Virtual Boy, a failure upon arrival. The Wii U had some great features and titles, but the whole launch of the console was a massive failure and kept many gamers away from even considering the console. When the Wii came out, fans couldn’t get enough of the interactive controls. It then became too much when a bunch of pointless add-ons were released as controller extensions. The Nintendo 64 was a big hit and Nintendo tried to expand upon it with the release of the N64DD, but the project was a huge failure all around. Another controller Nintendo failed with was the gimmicky Power Glove released for the original NES. While the PS3 and Xbox 360 thrived with online gaming, the Wii felt like a console of the past with its poor online options. Watch and see the 10 biggest fails Nintendo wants you to forget!------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Script by: Alan DonahueVoice Over by: Justin FreitasEdited by: Marc-Antoine KelertasOur Social Media: https:twitter.comthegamer_site https:www.facebook.comthegamercomOur Website http:thegamer.com

Classic Game Room HD SEGA DREAMCAST Console Review

Classic Game Room HD reviews the Sega Dreamcast video game console released on 9999! One of the many days that the world was supposed to end was actually a day to celebrate because the Sega Dreamcast was released and it promised to change the world! Sadly, 2 years later support had dwindled and popular support was pulled. How is it that one of the greatest video game systems in history could suffer such a short lifespan? Well, collecting a Sega Dreamcast and a library of awesome games has never been easier or more affordable. Filmed on the 10 year anniversary of the North American release of the Dreamcast, CGR takes a look at the awesome white box with the orange swirl. Fans of arcade titles, shooters and Sega classics should definitely consider a Dreamcast as a contender for their next game system. Controllers, cords and memory cards are easy to come by and classics like Shenmue, Sega GT, Sea Man, Giga Wing and Chu Chu Rocket (DC version) are only available on the Sega Dreamcast. There are more than 600 games released for the system, including many that saw a sub-par release on the PS1 like Soul Reaver. The Dreamcast is literally on sale these days thanks to eBay and the fact that it is now a decade old.

Classic Game Room HD NES ACTION SET Unboxing Review

Watch in High Definition! Classic Game Room HD reviews the experience unboxing a NES ACTION SET from 1990! The Nintendo Entertainment System was sold in many different versions over many years, the Action Set was a later incarnation of the NES lineup and came packed with a Nintendo toaster system, NES Zapper, two controllers, Nintendo Power magazine advertisement, Nintendo poster and all accessories needed to hook an NES up to a television. The previous CGRHD NES toaster broke, and after replacing the 72 pin connector was still not working properly. We had to finally replace our trusty Nintendo. After searching the Earth for a new NES it was decided that Classic Game Room wanted an original toaster model of the NES because it has a superior video output and that old school Nintendo style. A used Nintendo was found, sold complete with its original box and all add-ons. CGRHD jumped at the chance to unbox an NES and picked it up! This review coveres the packaging and experience unboxing a Nintendo Entertainment System! Enjoy the un box video as an NES is un boxed!

game | Mr. Backup Z64 Review

Mr. Backup Z64 Review

Find games, thrift stores, flea markets in your area on my website: http:www.dinkydana.comreviewmr-backup-z64The Z64 was manufactured in Taiwan and was distributed in the US by Harrison Electronics. The system is based around an i386 compatible computer; the Z64 BIOS is actually an image of a FAT filesystem, and it boots an MS-DOS clone internally. This model cost $299.00 on release. The Z64 is extremely easy to use. It has an LCD display that you can use to load a game before the N64 is powered on, or to load a boot emulator or back up the cart in the slot. In addition, if you turn the N64 on before loading a game, the Z64 has a nice BIOS menu that runs as a N64 program, like the CD64 BIOS. In this case, you have a small advantage over the CD64, since you are not forced to operate with a 6102 boot cart only; you can choose whether to use the BIOS or operate the LCD menu depending on what you want to do.In the Z64 menu, you can set up options for each individual game, such as what boot chip it uses, slowdown function, tell it to redirect controller pack saves to the zip disk (for transfer to PC or copy to friends), or to PAL-fix it.

Classic Game Room HD ATARI 7800 ProSystem review

Watch in high definition! Classic Game Room HD reviews the Atari 7800 ProSystem from 1986! The Atari 7800 Pro System was originally supposed to be released in 1984 but was delayed due to the market in those years. After the success of the NES in 1985 the Atari was released in 1986 to an un-enthusiastic public. The Atari 7800 has an excellent variety of arcade games like Xevious, Ms. Pac Man and Robotron 2084. Numerous original Atari video games like Desert Falcon and Ballblazer are available for the system, as well as favorites like Choplifter, Mario Bros. and Donkey Kong. This hardware review features the Atari 7800 game console, the American Atari 7800 controller, the European Atari 7800 controller, the Atari 7800 instruction manual and an Atari catalog from 1986 called "Get the Atari Advantage!" The Atari 7800 is backwards compatible with Atari 2600 games and plays the library of 2600 classics like Yars Revenge and Berzerk! Classic Game Room loves the old Atari consoles and collects Atari gear. Check out CGRHD Atari 7800 reviews because Classic Game Room is an Atari 7800 reviewer reviewing Atari 7800 games. Learn a lot from CGR episodes like how to play Atari, how to hook up Atari and where to buy Atari games, hardware and accessories.
