Classic Game Room HD reviews the SEGA GAME GEAR which was originally released in North America in the year 1990! Handheld gaming has never been less portable but more exciting. The Sega Game Gear eats six AA batteries in two hours but delivers Sega quality video games on a full color screen. Take that black and white Nintendo Game Boy! Color! Even if you need to plug it in to play games lasting more than 2 hours... The Game Gear may show its age with a dim LCD screen and washed out colors, common with older handhelds these days. But an awesome library of collectable games await you for an affordable price. Perhaps you just want to rebuild your collection and relive your youth? Were you playing Game Gear in the hallway while making smart-assed comments as kids with their sad black and white game boys walked by? Did your Game Gear accidentally beat up a rival's Atari Lynx? Yeah, you know it. The Game Gear may not be the handheld of choice now but it was a terrific addition to the Sega hardware catalog and was built to last (as well as it could). This CGR review shows a Sega Game Gear in the video game review and features Game Gear games such as Sonic the Hedgehog and Mortal Kombat II. The Sega Gamegear review shows the Sega Game Gear screen, battery compartments and buttons up close.

Classic Game Room HD reviews the SEGA 32X add-on for the Sega Genesis 16-bit video game console. Also available for the Sega Mega Drive, the 32X boosts the POWER of the Genesis.... or something like that. It plays 32X games which are typically larger, smoother and even better looking than awesome Sega Genesis video games. The 32X suffered from many problems though, not the least of which was its requirement to use two power supplies. The 32X works with the model 1 and model 2 Sega Genesis but requires a special 32X cable to work properly. The 32X is powered by the common Sega MK-3102 power supply and covers the player's room with wires and nonsense. Sega's biggest mistake? Even though the 32X was a commercial disaster and is regarded as a joke there are some amazing games available for the Sega 32X like Doom, Virtua Fighter, Virtua Racing Deluxe, Afterburner and Metal Head. The library of games is smaller than what you'll find for the Genesis but there are some real gems in there like Cosmic Carnage. If you can find the cables to make it work, pick up a 32X for a song these days and you'll be surprised at how good it actually is, even if it is a complete clusterf---.

10 Things You Didn t Know Your Old Game Boy Could Do

10 hidden Game Boy features you didn't know about! Subscribe to The Gamer: https:goo.gl9cpWgf The Game Boy was innovative for so many reasons. The portability of the system gave us gaming on the go and it had a library of games filled with a lot of classics including the original Pokemon games. Even with all the games and the Game Boy camera, the portable device could do things you can’t even imagine.Into sewing? Well, the Game Boy was compatible with a sewing machine that would automatically create patterns and designs. The Game Boy was great for camping trips, but the device could also be used to catch some huge fish. Systems like the GameCube and SNES were compatible with the games, but there was also a way to play games on the Sony Playstation. The Game Boy wasn’t really built for multiplayer action, but there was a four player link and a number of games you could play with three friends. The Mission Impossible game has some amazing features including the ability to control your TV or VCR. The original Game Boy was so tough, it could actually survive a war. For those who love style, the Game Boy has been transformed into both a luxury collector’s item and some pretty fancy shoes. Game Boy music was pretty basic, but the handheld console could be transformed into a portable radio and used with both speakers and headphones. The console also had the ability to connect to computers through special software. Watch to see all these great uses and then decide if it’s worth pulling out your old Game Boy for some action once again!#GameBoy #NintendoCheck out these other awesome videos!6 Things Fortnite Can Do That PUBG Can't Things PUBG Can Do That Fortnite CAN'T by: Alan Donahue Voice Over by: Justin Freitas Edited by: Dan SchiffmacherOur Social Media: https:twitter.comthegamer_site https:www.facebook.comthegamercomOur Website

Classic Game Room NINTENDO GAME BOY POCKET review

Game Boy Pocket review. Shop CGR shirts and mugs! Classic Game Room reviews the NINTENDO GAME BOY POCKET. The Gameboy Pocket does more than just fit in your pocket, it plays Game Boy games! Produced by Nintendo several years after the original, groundbreaking Nintendo Game Boy, the Game Boy Pocket is smaller, lighter, uses two AAA batteries and has a larger, better screen. The unit's smaller size makes it more portable and comfortable to play games on and is regarded as one of the best Game Boy models by fans. The Game Boy Pocket has two action buttons, a headphone jack, volume and contrast controls, link cable input and comes in a variety of colors. The model seen in the Classic Game Room review is clear plastic and shows the inner workings and the speaker that make the Game Boy Pocket work.

Classic Game Room RETRON 5 console review

Retron 5 review! http:classicgameroom.comvaultpagesvaultpagemiscellaneous-retron-5-consoleClassic Game Room reviews the Hyperkin Retron 5 video game system that plays Sega Genesis. Super Nintendo, NES, Famicom, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, Game Boy, Super Famicom and Sega Master System games through HDMI using magic... or something. The Retron 5 is a hotbed of controversy because it plays games digitally instead of using analog outputs like a real Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis or anything else made in the 20th century. The games are incredibly sharp and crystal clear with that "emulated" look, although the Retro 5 gives many filter and scan line options. It works with Super Nintendo, NES and Sega Genesis controllers which is great because the wireless controller that comes with the Retron 5 is garbage. CGR Hyperkin Retron 5 video review features gameplay from a wide variety of games being played on Retron 5. It works well with Gameboy and even plays Super Famicom and PAL Super NIntendo games!

This PSP is the unit that CGR uses for all of the PSP reviews because it has an amazing audio and video output that allows gamers to play the PSP on televisions with component video for the best picture possible. The PSP itself has an amazing screen, sounds great through headphones (or stereo system) and is built with excellent controls and feels solid. The UMD format is the weak link for this (and other, older PSP models) unit because the UMD drive is an optical drive just waiting to have problems. Fortunately PSP owners can download most of their games from the Playstation Network these days, including a huge number of original PSone video games for PSP. Now that the PSP Go is released you may think that the PSP series 1000, 2000 and 3000 are obsolete but they are not! The older PSP models can still download the newest games and rock your journey with Playstation on the go goodness.

Classic Game Room NEO GEO POCKET COLOR review

Classic Game Room reviews the SNK Neo-Geo Pocket Color handheld game console from 1999! This sequel to the black and white NeoGeo Pocket had color and higher hopes but still failed to gain a foothold against the Nintendo Game Boy and Sega Game Gear. Lack of a backlit screen and small software library kept the SNK Neo Geo Pocket Color to a niche market, but that doesn't mean it isn't awesome. The Neo-Geo Pocket Color is a 16-bit hand held videogame console with games like Samurai Shodown and Gals Fighters that have a catchy cartoony look and awesome gameplay. It has a thumbstick instead of a D-pad and two buttons. Because of the non-backlit screen the Neo Geo Pocket has excellent battery life. Its design is pleasing and the SNK NeoGeo Pocket Color has a handy portable size which fits your hands well and makes gameplay comfortable. CGR reviews Neo-Geo Pocket Color video games on Classic Game Room review show.

Classic Game Room SEGA NOMAD review

Classic Game Room HD reviews the portable SEGA NOMAD, the Sega Genesis Nomad that plays Sega Genesis game cartridges on the go! Sort of, although this is portable it really isn't that portable due to its size and pathetic battery life. But that doesn't stop it from being a worth addition to any Sega Genesis fan's library. You can play Genesis games on the couch, in bed, on a long road trip. Wherever you want, just don't try to throw this thing in your pocket and save games frequently. This CGR hardware review of the Sega Genesis nomad has pictures and video of the Sega Nomad showing the Sega Nomad playing Sega Genesis video games.
