Turok: Dinosaur Hunter is a first-person shooter video game developed by Iguana Entertainment and published by Acclaim for the Nintendo 64 console and personal computer platforms. It was released in 1997 in North America and Europe. Turok is an adaptation of the Acclaim Comics comic book series of the same name. The player controls a Native American warrior, Turok, who must stop the evil Campaigner from conquering the universe with an ancient and powerful weapon. As Acclaim's first exclusive title for the Nintendo 64, Turok was part of a strategy to develop games internally and license merchandise; Acclaim acquired the rights to Turok when it purchased Acclaim Comics (né Valiant) in 1994. Suffering from cash flow problems and falling sales, Acclaim came to rely on Turok as its best hope for a financial turnaround. Iguana pushed the Nintendo 64's graphics capabilities to its limits, and were forced to compress or cut elements to fit the game on its 8 megabyte cartridge. Bugs delayed the game's release from September 1996 to January 1997.Critical reception of Turok was highly positive. Becoming one of the most popular games for the console on release, Turok won praise for its graphics and evolution of the genre. Complaints centered on graphical slowdowns caused by multiple enemies appearing onscreen and occasionally awkward controls. The game sold 1.5 million copies and boosted sales of the Nintendo 64. Turok spawned a video game franchise that includes six sequels.

One official bonus pack, the Epic-released Fusion Map Pack, can be downloaded free of charge. Support me on Patreon: http:tinyurl.comzd48qvf Join the Gggmanlives Steam Group: http:steamcommunity.comgroupsgggmanlivesDark Messiah of Might and Magic, additionally subtitled Elements on Xbox 360, is a first-person action game with role-playing elements developed by Arkane Studios and Floodgate Entertainment. Kuju Entertainment developed the multiplayer mode. The player controls Sareth, the apprentice of the wizard Phenrig, after he is sent to the city of Stonehelm to accompany an expedition trying to retrieve a powerful artifact known as "The Skull of Shadows."Dark Messiah: Might and Magic was released on October 24, 2006 on PC, and Dark Messiah of Might and Magic: Elements was released later on February 12, 2008 for the Xbox 360. It adds new levels in the single-player campaign, a revamped multiplayer mode, numerous bug-fixes, and adjustments for the console experience. The game emphasizes environmental combat, by way of using scripted traps or terrain features. Actions include cutting ropes to release heavy objects, kicking enemies over a cliff or into a bed of spikes, and breaking support beams to collapse a structure and crush enemies underneath.Enemies are generally difficult to kill in straightforward combat, although characters developed for this purpose may have an easier time. Characters with high stealth can sneak up behind enemies and perform a lethal backstab maneuver, while players skilled with a bow can use it to snipe enemies from a distance. Developing a character for resilience and strength for melee combat is still possible and completely viable, but even with proper specialization, successful close combat requires careful application of tactics, timing and precision.Magic spells can be used to unleash offensive spells, heal the player, or serve a number of utility purposes. As the player completes objectives throughout the game, Dark Messiah awards experience points that can be used to buy skills in one of three skill trees: Combat, Magic, and Miscellaneous. The Combat tree improves the power and efficiency of physical attacks. The Magic tree grants access to new spells. The Miscellaneous tree contains general improvements, including Stealth.Although some enemies will drop remains when killed, looting in Dark Messiah is mostly a fixed affair. Valuable items are placed in specific locations for the player to find. Each item has fixed stats, and the selection of items is also limited, with only a small number of different weapons or armor in each category. Additionally, advanced items typically have a skill requirement, with the end result being that the character equips only a handful of different items over the course of the game, as allowed by selecting many skills in your skill selection bars.

Turok 2008 Inhuman difficulty walkthrough part 1

Walkthrough for the 2008 instalement of Turok on Inhuman difficulty. Good visuals, cool, well voiced characters and fun gameplay. All it lacks is a bit of overall polish and more story development.Haven't played this game many times, since this was done on request, i actually only cleared it once on normal and then played twive on inhuman for practice. This is the end result... competent but could have been better, perhaps. In terms of graphics, i was able to max everything out except for the resolution, which i had to lower a bit. Frame rate is pretty smooth, except in jungle dense areas, where it sometimes drops to around 40 fps.On a side note, they say this is supposed to be a remake of the very first Turok for the N64 (one of my all time favorites), buti don't see the similarities, except for the jungle setting and the dinossaurs. Nothing wrong about that, but this seems completly different to me.Anyway, please leave your comments and be sure to watch in HD. Cheers.

Join the Gggmanlives Steam Group: http:steamcommunity.comgroupsgggmanlivesAliens versus Predator is a science fiction first-person shooter computer game developed by Rebellion and published by Fox Interactive for Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X computers in 1999. It is based on the Alien and Predator media franchises and the crossover Alien vs. Predator franchise. A sequel, Aliens versus Predator 2, was developed by Monolith Productions and released by Sierra in 2001.Like the 1994 Alien vs Predator game for the Atari Jaguar, Aliens versus Predator offers three separate campaigns, each playable as a separate species: Alien, Predator, or human Colonial Marine. Each player character has different objectives, abilities, and weapons. The single-player campaign presents the player with a conventional series of levels to progress through that are designed around the abilities of each character. As the Colonial Marine the player uses a number of weapons to combat Aliens and Predators. The marine wears armor for protection and uses an image intensifier and flares to improve visibility in dark areas. When playing as the Predator the player uses a variety of weapons from the Predator films such as wrist blades, a throwing disc, and shoulder-mounted energy weapons. The Predator is the most durable of the three player characters and can survive falls from greater heights than the human. The player can use a cloaking device to become invisible and several different modes of vision to detect enemies, including an infrared vision mode and a mode sensitive to electrical systems. As an Alien the player can explore most of the game's environments freely, even climbing across walls and ceilings. The Alien has no weapons, however, using its claws, tail, and jaws to attack enemies. The screen is distorted into a fisheye lens effect to reflect the Alien's field of view. The player can also use a form of echolocation in dark areas and can detect pheromones to discern human or Predator enemies. The Alien can drop from any height without injury and is the fastest of the three player characters.(Aliens Versus Predator Classic 2000)

Call of Cthulhu Dark Corners of the Earth PC Game Review

Join the Gggmanlives Steam Group: http:steamcommunity.comgroupsgggmanlivesCall of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth is a survival horror video game developed by Headfirst Productions and published by Bethesda Softworks with 2K Games and Ubisoft for the PC and Xbox systems. The game was published first for the Xbox in 2005 and the PC version followed in 2006.Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth combines an action-adventure game with a relatively realistic and immersive first-person shooter, as well as elements of a stealth game. The game is based on the works of H. P. Lovecraft, author of "The Call of Cthulhu" and progenitor of the Cthulhu Mythos, and in particular the game is a re-imagining of Lovecraft's 1936 novella The Shadow Over Innsmouth. Set mostly in the year 1922, the story follows Jack Walters, a mentally unstable private detective hired to investigate a disappearance case in Innsmouth, a strange and mysterious town that has cut itself from the rest of the United States. In development since 1999, the project was repeatedly delayed, going through several revisions and having some of its most ambitious features abandoned and the PlayStation 2 version canceled. Although well received by most critics, the final game was a commercial failure. At least two additional Cthulhu Mythos games were planned by Headfirst Productions, including a direct sequel to Dark Corners of the Earth, titled Call of Cthulhu: Destiny's End, but they were never completed due to Headfirst's failure to find a new publisher and their subsequent bankruptcy.

I captured this footage using a physical copy of Black, Fraps and PCSX2. You can grab PCSX2 here: http:pcsx2.netBlack is a first-person shooter video game, developed by Criterion Games and published by Electronic Arts. It was released on 24 February 2006 for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox video game consoles. The game is notable for its heavily stylized cinema-inspired action as well as its award winning sound quality and focus on destructive effects during gameplay. The gameplay is essentially a straight forward first person shooter. Players can only carry two weapons at a time; therefore, strategy is needed when choosing weaponry, with weapons differing in characteristics. The player can also carry grenades, which can be thrown without switching weapons. Land mines and grenades can be detonated prematurely by shooting them. The game is mission-based, with each mission separated by a cut scene video. On harder difficulties, there are more objectives that must be completed before the player can progress. These extra objectives involved collecting various intelligence documents, blueprints, or destroying parts of the environment. These are all indicated by the HUD cross-hair changing color when the player points at the relevant object.Successful completion of the objectives over all missions in all difficulties above 'Easy' results in the awarding of Silver Weapons (infinite bullets) and unlocking the M16-A2 (40mm underslung grenade launcher attachment) as the starting default weapon with infinite 40mm grenades. When unlocked, these features are permanent and cannot be removed without starting a fresh storyline.

It was released in 1995 for MS-DOS and Apple Macintosh, and in 1996 for the PlayStation. The storyline is set in the Star Wars fictional universe and follows the character Kyle Katarn, a mercenary working on behalf of the Rebel Alliance. He discovers the Empire's "Dark Trooper Project", which involves the development of a series of powerful new battle droids and power-armored stormtroopers.Dark Forces uses the Jedi game engine, which was developed specifically for the game. The engine adds gameplay features to the first-person shooter genre which were uncommon at the time of release, including level designs with multiple floors and the ability to look up and down.Critics gave very favorable reviews to the DOS and Macintosh versions of Dark Forces, but not to the PlayStation version. The DOS and Macintosh versions were praised for the level design and technological advances. The PlayStation version was criticized for having poor graphics and slow frame rates, reducing playability. A sequel to Dark Forces, Star Wars Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II, followed in 1997.

Buy the game here: http:www.dgray.comn3dpage.htmNitemare 3D (N3D) is a first-person shooter PC game with a horror theme, released by Gray Design Associates in June 1994 on MS-DOS and Windows 3.1x platforms. It consisted of three episodes, the first of which was released as shareware. The full release came on two 3½" floppy disks and was accompanied by a guide to the game's thirty levels.Graphics were very similar to those used in id Software's Wolfenstein 3D games, with perpendicular walls, and no texture on the floors or ceilings.Rather than the fast-paced action of Wolfenstein, Nitemare 3D has a slightly slower, more puzzle-oriented style of play. The four different weapons (plasma gun, magic wand, pistol and auto-repeat plasma gun) have different usages—for example, magic blasts are especially useful against magical creatures such as witches, whereas robots are practically immune to them. Meanwhile, vampires take heavy damage from silver bullets, while shrugging off the effects of the plasma gun. Each level in the game has numerous secret panels, some of which were purely for bonuses, but others are essential to completing the level. To make this task easier, the player can collect magic eyes, which enable the player to activate a mini-map in the game's HUD and give hints as to the locations of panels, and crystal balls for displaying the location of enemies. In a similar vein to the Wolfenstein 3D games, Doom, the player's face was shown on the status bar, and was a visual reflection of the player's health, although instead of becoming bloodier, the skin wore away, leaving a skull when near death, and a darkened skull when dead.

Redneck Rampage is a 1997 first-person shooter game designed by Xatrix Entertainment and published by Interplay. The game features songs by Mojo Nixon, Reverend Horton Heat, Beat Farmers and other Psychobilly artists. As the name implies, Redneck Rampage has many hillbilly elements in it.Reviews for the title were mixed, but even the harshest reviewers were able to appreciate the game's energy and sense of humor. Arinn Dembo writing for Cnet Gamecenter gave the game three stars, and said it deserved "big points for its psychobilly soundtrack", "big points for being genuinely funny at times", and offered "good fun using a crowbar to beat aliens, 'Old Coots' and 'Billy Rays' to death". Redneck Rampage was nominated in the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences' first annual Interactive Achievement Awards in the category "Computer Action Game of the Year".(Redneck Rampage)
