The Simpsons, America's favorite 4 fingered yellow skin family. For 19 years they have graced our TV screens, and naturyaly, virtualy every console system ever made from the NES up. Bart's Nightmare was my first ever SNES american cart, and just like the name suggests, it's one crazy trip into a really psychotic version of Springfield. I really love this level on the vid, Bartzilla. It was really funny to see people throwing Megadrives (Genesis US) at Bartzilla. Naturally on the Megadrive version, they throw out SNES instead, it was a fun detail when the 16 bit console wars were raging.

game | Bart s Nightmare Completed No Death A Ending Snes

Bart s Nightmare Completed No Death A Ending Snes

No-commentary gameplay of Bart's Nightmare. Super Nintendo. Usa Version. Game completed without dying in any level. Played with Snes9x 1.52. No tools, cheats, autofire, re-recording or save states were used. One of the first Simpsons games for the 16 bit. This game was quite a dissapointment for everyone, as it can be extremely frustating for children (the main target of this game at the time). Anyway, I don't think this game is so bad. To start with graphics are nice, and it has several styles of gameplays ranging from platformer, to shooter and beat'em up. The problems is that almost all mini games feel quite dull and boring, being the only interesting ones the Bartman stage and maybe the Itchy and Scratchy one.In the game you have to find 8 pages of Bart's homework divided into 6 stages (two of them belong to the Itchy and Scratchy mini game). When I was young I had no clue of what I was supposed to do (and probably most children too).I remember that I used to enjoy the Bartman stage, but I hated the Indiana Jones one as I didn't understand it (I think that it's too complex for a 7 year old boy).In this gameplay I obtained the best mark possible. In order to do so, you need to find the 8 pages and get a score above 125.000 points. And yes, you need to leech points because it's impossible to obtain them other way (unless you need to repeat several stages again).I hope you like the gameplay of this so-hated game :)

Bart vs the World speedrun in 14 57 02.

This speedrun is not tool-assisted, and is currently the fastest record for this game. This run may not look pretty, but to those who played this game, or saw my review of Bart vs the World, they know how excruciating the controls really are. A little idea: Run and jump are the same button.

game | The Simpsons Bart s Nightmare 1992 SNES

The Simpsons Bart s Nightmare 1992 SNES

Bart's Nightmare is a 1992 video game developed by American company Sculptured Software based on the television show The Simpsons. It was released to the Sega Mega DriveGenesis and the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. The game is split in two parts. The first is set on a street (probably Evergreen Terrace, but referred to as Windy World). Bart walks around and has to find pages of his homework while avoiding enemies such as living post boxes and various characters from the show. Bart can collect his skateboard, which acts as a power-up and temporarily increases the player's speed. Jimbo and his gang would coerce Bart into strolling with them, to which Bart would lose control of his movements and have to move with them, even having to take damage.Lisa Simpson with pixie wings would sprinkle fairy dust on Jimbo and his gang and transform them into rats, freeing Bart. However, if Bart is by himself, the Lisa pixie would turn him into a frog, where the frog Bart could not attack. If Bart caught a kiss blown to him by an old lady, it would revert him to his human form. Bart would also have to use bubble gum to blow a bubble to repel enemies as well as collect floating Z's. An important trick would be to catch Z's at opposite ends of the game screen which served as "goal posts", thus extending the level of play in the game. Principal Skinner occasionally appears and tries to dress Bart in his Sunday suit. If the player walks into Skinner, Bart will change appearance and become very slow and not be able to fire at enemies, however the suit will also protect Bart from all enemies and he will not take damage. When a page is found in Windy World, the player must jump onto it, where Bart will shrink down on the page, and the player has to choose one out of a selection of two randomly chosen mini-games. The player must point Bart to one of the two color-coded doors to play a mini-game and retrieve a lost page of Bart's homework (if the player doesn't choose, Bart will automatically select the left-hand side door). The doors and games are: The green door: Bartzilla, where Bart must stomp through the streets of Springfield and destroy the army with fire breath and visual lasers, after being zapped by a shrink ray, Bart climbs the Springfield State Building and fights "Homer Kong" and "Momthra." The violet door: A journey into Bart's blood stream, where Bart must use an air pump to inflate and destroy germs. After collecting 5 atoms when the page is visible, the player wins. This mini-game has a cameo appearance from Smiling Joe Fission (a character from the first-season episode "Homer's Odyssey"). The yellow door: Itchy and Scratchy, where Bart is being attacked by the "team up" duo, as well as various other household objects that become enemies (the oven shoots fire, the telephone explodes, Marge's Picture drops eyeballs, Pyro-Vacuums etc.) This is the only mini-game divided in two; Bart must play one half first and the other half next. The blue door: Bartman, where Bart flies over Springfield as a superhero. Along the way he fights many bosses, including Sherri and Terri in a hot air balloon, Barney Gumble on a pink elephant, Waylon Smithers in a blimp (you face him twice), and eventually Mr. Burns in a biplane. Besides the enemies, Bart must avoid clouds of radioactive gas. Bart also receives soda bottles from Apu on a magic carpet in this level, which serve to raise his energy bar. The orange door: Indiana Bart, where Bart must make through the balancing columns in "Temple of Maggie" The mini-games can be played in any order; the pages awarded will be 1 through 8 depending on the order they were retrieved. Upon either losing all the lives in the respective mini-game (and not getting the page back) or completing the mini-game (and receiving the page as a reward), the screen will flash back to Bart's room at night, which shows the amount of points the player has and the number of pages collected, while Bart snores. Once a minigame is completed, it will not resurface later in the game. If there is only one mini-game left, both doors will be the same color. From Wikipedia

Part 2 Virtual Bart SNES Mt. Splashmore Water Slide PEMNAS Playthrough

Welcome to the second part of my third ever PEMNAS Playthrough. This month's game is the particular licensed Simpsons game Virtual Bart (SNES version). Not that shitty GenesisMega Drive port. I honestly think this game is a bit underrated, I enjoyed it quite a bit when I was a young lad, so I took the liberty of doing a PEMNAS series for the game! Enjoy! Also, PEMNAS stands for "PLEASE EXCUSE MY NOOB ASS SKILLS." I invented the term myself.Subscribe to me too please! The Game Informant blog: Twitter : https:twitter.comOKeijiDragon Tumblr : Google+ :
