The Simpsons, America's favorite 4 fingered yellow skin family. For 19 years they have graced our TV screens, and naturyaly, virtualy every console system ever made from the NES up. Bart's Nightmare was my first ever SNES american cart, and just like the name suggests, it's one crazy trip into a really psychotic version of Springfield. I really love this level on the vid, Bartzilla. It was really funny to see people throwing Megadrives (Genesis US) at Bartzilla. Naturally on the Megadrive version, they throw out SNES instead, it was a fun detail when the 16 bit console wars were raging.

That's me playing "The Simpsons: Bart's Nightmare" on my SNES console. To get an A+ you need to go though the stages following the order of the most difficult to the most easy stage, as it is possible, and ride a lot of skateboard at the "Windy World" The most difficult stage in my opinion is the "Bart's bloodstream", then the "Bartzilla", then the "Meggie Temple", then the "Itchy and Scratchy", and the easier is "Bartman". The second door of "Itchy and Scratchy" always appear the last, so the last two stages that I play are always "Itchy and Scratchy 2" and "Bartman". A score of 125000 or higher will give you an A+.

SNES Longplay 014 The Simpsons Bart s Nightmare

http:www.longplays.org Played by: Geekmeister This is a reupload, that as far as I can tell, fixes the problem of the horrible audio, no idea how the audio got messed up in the first place though. I thought I had lost the original input recording, or I would have fixed this a long time ago, but recently I rediscovered it and made a new version.

Bart s Nightmare Completed No Death A Ending Snes

No-commentary gameplay of Bart's Nightmare. Super Nintendo. Usa Version. Game completed without dying in any level. Played with Snes9x 1.52. No tools, cheats, autofire, re-recording or save states were used. One of the first Simpsons games for the 16 bit. This game was quite a dissapointment for everyone, as it can be extremely frustating for children (the main target of this game at the time). Anyway, I don't think this game is so bad. To start with graphics are nice, and it has several styles of gameplays ranging from platformer, to shooter and beat'em up. The problems is that almost all mini games feel quite dull and boring, being the only interesting ones the Bartman stage and maybe the Itchy and Scratchy one.In the game you have to find 8 pages of Bart's homework divided into 6 stages (two of them belong to the Itchy and Scratchy mini game). When I was young I had no clue of what I was supposed to do (and probably most children too).I remember that I used to enjoy the Bartman stage, but I hated the Indiana Jones one as I didn't understand it (I think that it's too complex for a 7 year old boy).In this gameplay I obtained the best mark possible. In order to do so, you need to find the 8 pages and get a score above 125.000 points. And yes, you need to leech points because it's impossible to obtain them other way (unless you need to repeat several stages again).I hope you like the gameplay of this so-hated game :)

ORIGINAL VIDEO WITHOUT VOICE COMMENTARY: http:www.youtube.comwatch?v=kS4ggE0LBNM&hd=1 Bart's Nightmare. Super Nintendo. Usa Version. Game completed without dying in any level. Played with Snes9x 1.52. No tools, cheats, autofire, re-recording or save states were used.

game | The Simpsons Bart s Nightmare SNES Blue Door

The Simpsons Bart s Nightmare SNES Blue Door

For the Purple Door (next in this longplay), check here: http:www.youtube.comwatch?v=c7jTievykmg Whenever people think of good Simpsons games, they usually think about the Arcade game and maybe some later titles on recent consoles (not great, but playable and somewhat good). Whenever people think of bad Simpsons games, they have plenty to choose from, but most will pick those on the NES. Even if I'd ask someone to think about a Simpsons game on the SNES alone, that person would probably pick The Simpsons: Virtual Bart. Nobody really seems to remember Bart's Nightmare, a game released for the SNES and the Sega GenesisMega Drive. I do, because it was one of the first games I owned for the SNES and while it was not my favorite, I liked it when I finally managed to beat it (it's really hard). The blue door is not the 1st level of the game, as the levels appear at random by finding a sheet of paper (that also appears at random intervals) on the streets (once you get a page in a specific door, you get to a 2nd part where you can get another page. If you fail that part, the next time you would find the same door color, you would automatically get to that 2nd part. The Yellow door features 2 part, but once you finish the 1st one, the game doesn't give you the opportunity of going to the 2nd part without finding another paper. The Blue and Purple Doors are 1 part only.) The streets part is the only part of the game that will give you a game over if you die, dying in the levels will put you back on the streets with some damage. The reality is that it isn't good by any means. It tries to change gameplay between each level, represented by doors. Here we have a shmup level which is not the worst of the bunch since you can manage to control Bart, but most other levels feature slippery controls that are also too sensitive and good luck figuring out how to play the Godzilla rip-off level. In conclusion, it is a short game with bad controls that give us the illusion of featuring a variety of concepts, even if they're all poorly executed. Like all games, even if they're not good, you can like it just like I did (I blame nostalgia). Since I don't want to spend the rest of my life playing this game perfectly and I don't want to post videos where I die since it would be pointless for you to watch, I use an emulator to make a save state between each part, but no cheats of any kind. Don't forget, if you have requests like for another video game I should consider for a similar treatment as this one, just ask here or on my channel or even by sending me a personal message and if I can make it, there are good chances that I will... eventually! You can always see the current list of games already requested so as to avoid doing the same request twice (don't worry if you do) or to see why it might take some time for me to complete your request: https:docs.google.comdocumentd1FoYbyzJ3CMYK8zi6ORh6EbZxqPZtO1S2ojoSM7k__g8edit Note that the list is in no strict order, especially since most of these were simple suggestions made with no sense of urgency. So don't be intimidated by the list, don't be shy to ask me to do a game like this, even though you might see a lot of games already on the list.

This video came about from a competition held over at DigitalPress on May, 2006 - I recorded a MAME playback of my playthrough and uploaded it to a few places, but I never really put it up on Youtube until now. The rules were simple: a maximum of five credits, and the game had to be played on default settings. This is the game intro and Level 1 of the game, as played by me back then. There's eight videos in total. This video was captured using FoxMagic capturing software while the replay was played on MAME 0.101. I made this video, so PLEASE don't steal it!
