Control Your Computer In The Air Create a Leap Motion app

I'm Geeve George a 15 year old Maker.I love Computer Vision , Android Development and Algorithm Design.I am currently in 11th Grade and also a Research Collaboration Student with the MIT Media Lab India Initiative. Most of you might have watched the Iron-Man Movies. Tony Stark's inventions are the main attraction in the iron-man series. My dream is to build the Ironman suit some day. And the inventions in the Stark Tower are something which I always wish to make. Most of you might have seen that Tony Stark controls his computer in the air , when I was younger I used to always love the way tony stark simplified the interaction between the physical world and digital world. And I would try to replicate them in my projects. And now I am happy to make an instructable on how to program an app so that you can control your computer in the air. :)I would like to extend my special thanks to Intel , Instructables and Adafruit for awarding me the Adafruit Giftcards with which I was able to buy the Leap Motion Controller.

game | Cardboard robot video game controller Scratch MaKey MaKey

Cardboard robot video game controller Scratch MaKey MaKey

This quick, entirely amateur project inspired me to go a few steps further. EDIT: Indiegogo campaign ended, thanks to all who helped out!Check out my Indiegogo campaign page here: http:igg.meatcardboardentertainmentsystemx3357081You can see my Indiegogo pitch video for the Cardboard Entertainment System here: http:youtu.beoFXorNLolEwMORE RESOURCES -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-MaKey MaKey: Scratch 2.0: INFO ABOUT THIS DIY PROJECT -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-This was supposed to be a ~20 minute project, but I cheated and spent several hours playing around with Scratch to prepare content for it. The actual cardboard robot took 20 minutes, though. I used cardboard, scissors, egg crate, jumper wires, paper, glue, pen, conductive adhesive copper tape, tape, and a small assortment of other possible basic supplies and tools to use. I did not do a very good job detailing how I put this together, and I didn't spend a lot of time making the robot toy pretty but hopefully you can see neat angles to bounce your own ideas off of with little or even no experience with electronics. My goal was to create a vague resemblance to the robot character created in my game (a robot lovingly dubbed Circuit Bendy the Randomly Inexplicable). The game that I spent entirely too much time on and had way too much fun with was created in the Scratch environment. The cardboard robot resemblance had a purpose of integrating my MaKey MaKey to my computer as controls for the custom game made just for that controller. This was all inspired by a forum game on the MK forums where the user samwine offered the idea of a wire loop game similar to Operation. I adopted the idea per the loose rules of the game, and came up with an obscure and silly interpretation of what a wire loop game is (or rather, is not). This is also inspired by one of my favorite Sega CD games, a game called "Panic!" or "Switch!" depending on the country. The next version of Circuit Bendy's game will include new functions, and lots of new scenes as well as other game elements I'm playing with. The idea is that each action may have different effects depending on what else is going on in the room or which room the character is in and other game milestones and elements. Lunch O Say Can You See

SMU President's Scholar Christian Genco uses food and technology to perform "The Star-Spangled Banner" at the SMU Talent Show on September 28, 2012. A senior computer science major, he designed this homemade musical instrument using a prototype "invention kit," assigning each piece of food and drink a particular note to play. When Christian touched each item, an open circuit was completed sending a signal to his computer to play each note.
